Douglas Street cul-de-sac closed for bus project

The law immediately closes the Douglas Street, N.E., cul-de-sac in Square 4350 next to Lot 6 in Ward 5. The closure lets WMATA rebuild the Bladensburg Bus Garage. The project adds bus parking from 260 to 290, installs gear for zero‑emission buses, and increases on‑site employee parking from 100 to 400. Nearby residents and commuters will see changed access and local traffic around the closed cul‑de‑sac.
