New Tift County purchasing rules for vendors

Tift County’s board of commissioners is now the county’s purchasing agent. It buys all goods and services the county needs. All purchasing and bids must follow a purchasing and bidding policy the board adopts. The law also repeals any local laws that conflict, so these rules control. This mainly affects county officials and vendors who sell to the county.
