Technology fees for Ware County court users

The Ware County State Court clerk can charge up to $10 per civil case filed and per fine assessed. The judge sets the fee amounts. The clerk must keep the money in a separate account, used only for the court's listed technology needs. Allowed uses include buying, leasing, maintaining, and installing computer hardware and software. They also include equipment and software for imaging, scanning, faxing, communications, projection, and printing. Authority to charge these fees ends July 1, 2036. Any money left remains reserved for general Ware County technology uses, as the county Board of Commissioners decides.
