Georgia protects access to in vitro fertilization

Georgia's legal code cannot be read to prohibit or prevent anyone from getting in vitro fertilization (IVF) in Georgia. IVF involves fertilizing eggs with sperm in a lab. The resulting embryos are transferred to a uterus or saved for future use. Conflicting laws are repealed to the extent of the conflict. The law does not require insurance coverage or provide money to pay for treatment.
