Easier public access to Georgia laws

Georgia’s Office of Legislative Counsel must compile, index, edit, and publish state laws and resolutions for permanent retention. Publication must be electronic or in hardbound books, except where existing law allows otherwise. Special-session laws and resolutions can be published and distributed with those from the next regular session. The Code Revision Commission must help oversee digitization and online publication to create a permanent digital collection. This work must provide one public access point for local and general laws and resolutions. The Secretary of State handles distribution and must tell Legislative Counsel how many printed volumes are needed.
