One online home for Georgia laws

Georgia creates a permanent online library of its session laws. The Code Revision Commission oversees digitizing and electronic publishing to give one public access point for local and general Acts and resolutions. The Legislative Counsel compiles, indexes, edits, and publishes these laws online or in hardbound books for long-term keeping, with limited exceptions under state records rules. Laws from a special session can be published with the next regular session instead of as a separate book. The Secretary of State distributes printed volumes and tells the Legislative Counsel how many copies are needed.
