Baker County probate races go nonpartisan

The law makes elections for Baker County’s probate judge nonpartisan. Candidates appear on the ballot without party labels. The contest is held at the general nonpartisan election before the term ends and follows Georgia’s election rules. The current probate judge keeps the full elected term and may run again under these rules. Any older laws that conflict with this change are repealed.
