Set salary and allowance for Carroll coroner

Beginning July 1, 2025, the Carroll County coroner receives a $43,620 base salary each year, paid monthly from county funds. The coroner also receives a $3,100 yearly expense allowance, paid monthly under rules set by the county governing authority. Both amounts are subject to yearly adjustments under O.C.G.A. Section 36-5-28. Together this totals $46,720 per year before any state adjustment.
