Glynn County commissioners' pay and attendance rules

Beginning July 1, 2025, Glynn County commissioners receive set pay and expenses. The chair gets $28,000 a year, paid monthly, plus $600 a month for expenses. The vice chair gets $27,000 a year, paid monthly, plus $600 a month. Each other member gets $26,000 a year, paid monthly, plus $550 a month. No pay is issued for a month if the member did not attend at least one regular board meeting that month, unless a majority of the board votes to excuse the absence for illness or other good cause.
