Georgia pension funds get new investment limits

The law sets how much state retirement systems can hold in alternative investments. Most large systems are capped at 10% of assets at any time. The Georgia Firefighters' Pension Fund can invest up to 20%. The Peace Officers' Annuity and Benefit Fund can invest up to 15%. The Teachers' Retirement System and the Employees' Retirement System are each capped at 5%.
