Brooks County revises development board appointment rules
Brooks County’s governing authority must appoint seven outstanding county citizens to the Brooks County Development Authority. Two members must live within Quitman’s city limits. The other five can live anywhere in Brooks County. Members serve four-year terms and stay in office until their successors are appointed and qualified. The law also repeals conflicting laws.
