Barnesville redraws five city council districts

Barnesville keeps a mayor and five councilmembers, with council seats elected from five newly drawn districts. Districts 1–5 follow the barnesville-p1-2025 plan in the charter’s new Appendix B, using 2020 census boundaries. Any omitted or disconnected city area joins a bordering district with the lowest population under the 2020 census. Current councilmembers represent their newly drawn districts. They and anyone appointed to fill a vacancy serve until their terms end and successors are elected and qualified.
