Georgia creates America First plate with limits

Beginning January 1, 2026, Georgia authorizes an optional specialty plate showing the American flag and the words “America First.” The state can issue the plate before receiving 1,000 prepaid applications. If fewer than 1,000 applications are submitted before January 1, 2028, the state must stop making the plate. Money from plate sales goes to Georgia’s general fund. The law does not state the plate’s price.
