Barrow County takes over airport authority

The law repeals the joint airport authority for Winder and Barrow County. On the effective date, Barrow County gets all of the authority’s property and accounts and assumes its debts and contracts. All leases and agreements stay in force and are managed by Barrow County. Barrow County is the legal successor, and any law that mentions the airport authority now means the county. The authority dissolves after the transfer is complete. The law takes effect when the Governor approves it or it becomes law without approval, and any conflicting laws are repealed.
