The law sets the Clayton County State Court solicitor-general’s annual salary at 95% of the chief judge’s total pay. That total includes supplements under state law or county ordinance. The full salary package cannot exceed the greater of $191,007 or that 95% amount. Clayton County pays the salary every two weeks from county funds. These rules take effect on the first day of the month after the solicitor-general fully complies with county-wide audit requirements for 2024, 2025, and 2026.
