The law requires each local school system that gives the PSAT/NMSQT, SAT, PreACT, ACT, ASVAB, or Advanced Placement (AP) exams to let home study students in grades 6–12 who live in that system take them. Your home program must meet Georgia’s home‑study rules. Schools must post test dates, registration windows, and how to sign up, and state that home study students can register. Schools cannot charge any extra fees beyond what enrolled students pay or add extra requirements. This applies only to exams the school system already offers to its own students.
