Bill Overview

Analyzed Economic Effects

2 provisions identified: 0 benefits, 0 costs, 2 mixed.

Association records must show dues and fees

Beginning 07/01/2026, when you ask for association records, the association must add key disclosures. It must certify whether dues, fees, or assessments are paid or delinquent, and list any future approved charges. It must also give a schedule of all fees for transferring ownership in the community. The association may charge a reasonable fee to make these records, but not more than its estimated costs. You can ask for documents that show how the fee was set.

Home inspection privacy and seller rights

Beginning 07/01/2026, a home inspector cannot share a client’s report without the client’s consent, unless the law requires it. A seller can ask for, and get for free, the parts tied to the buyer’s repair or remediation requests. If the buyer or the buyer’s agent will not give those parts, the seller can cancel the purchase contract without penalty.
