Public tracking of asset forfeitures

Beginning July 1, 2026, the State Controller publishes a public, up-to-date list of civil asset forfeitures. The list covers property taken and forfeited under Idaho’s drug forfeiture law. Peace officers who seize property must notify the state director within five days. These reports help keep the list current and improve public oversight.
