Indigent assistance eligibility ends July 2026

Beginning July 1, 2026, the state repeals the law that set who qualified for indigent financial assistance (Idaho Code §31-3502). After that date, there is no eligibility rule under that section. People who relied on that section lose that path to help. The law takes effect on July 1, 2026.
