Emergency staff funding for 2025–26

Tax agency funding for 2026–27

It provides $1,941,400 for General Services: $550,000 from the General Fund, $109,400 from the Multistate Tax Compact Fund, $990,400 from the Administration Services for Transportation Fund, and $291,600 from the Seminars and Publications Fund. It also provides $353,000 from the General Fund for the Compliance Division and $50,000 from the Seminars and Publications Fund for the Property Tax program. Total funding across these programs is $2,344,400 for that year, and it can be used only in that period.

Limits $550,000 to tax software bills

The law restricts $550,000 of the 2026–27 General Fund money so it can only pay the state’s tax collection system vendor. Any unused part of that $550,000 must return to the General Fund. The agency must report any returned amount to the Legislative Services Office.
