More funding and staff for Idaho parks

The law gives $18,129,900 to the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation for July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. $5,266,400 is for park operations and $12,863,500 is for capital projects. Money comes from the Parks and Recreation, Recreational Fuels, Registration, Miscellaneous Revenue, and Federal Grant funds. The agency may add 2.95 full‑time equivalent positions for that year. Tighter rules on moving trustee funds

From July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026, the parks department cannot move trustee and benefit appropriations between funds without the Legislature’s approval. This section took effect upon enactment.
