By July 1, 2026, the State Board of Education must post a public online form. Organizations can submit externships, internships, or volunteer roles for high school students in career and technical pathways. The Board reviews and approves each submission. It posts an approved list on its website and shares the list with all school districts every year. By July 1, 2027, and each July 1 after, the Board posts a report showing how many organizations submitted the prior year, broken out by career area.
