Fewer rules for Kansas trailer dealers

Trailer dealers and manufacturers in Kansas are exempt from several sections of the state dealer licensing law (K.S.A. 8-2414 to 8-2446). This applies only to businesses that handle trailers as defined in K.S.A. 8-126. It does not apply to semitrailers or travel trailers. It also does not apply if the dealer sells or trades any other type of vehicle. The law takes effect upon publication in the statute book.
