Louisiana duck stamps lose fixed prices

The law removes Louisiana duck stamp prices of $5.50 for residents and $25 for nonresidents, without setting replacement prices. The Department of Wildlife and Fisheries must regulate annual stamp and print creation, artist selection, reproduction, distribution, marketing, and sales. The secretary can choose sales methods that best serve the department, including public or private auctions and direct sales. The department keeps exclusive design ownership and production rights, but must return the original artwork to the artist afterward. Buying these stamps or prints does not authorize anyone to hunt, take, possess, or transport ducks in Louisiana.
