Boylston renames board and updates bylaws

The law changes Boylston’s “board of selectmen” to “select board.” Members are now “select board members,” and the leader is the “chair.” The board keeps the same powers under state law. The select board can, by majority vote, update general and zoning bylaws to swap old titles for the new ones, even if other state rules say otherwise. The law takes effect upon passage.
