Reimbursement for Falmouth sewer pump installations

The law lets the Falmouth Select Board reimburse private property owners. Your property must be in a Town Sewer Service Area built in the future and the pump must be needed to connect to town sewer. The costs covered are buying and installing a low-pressure pump on your property. The Select Board sets one payment amount that is the same for each property, and the town pays after the wastewater superintendent inspects the work. Town Meeting must appropriate the funds first.
