Lynnfield can move golf funds to turf fields

The Lynnfield select board can move up to $100,000 a year from the Golf Enterprise Fund. The town can deposit it into the Recreation Capital Trust Stabilization Fund. The money pays for big or long-term projects and for replacing turf on the town’s synthetic fields, plus related costs. Transfers must use only money left after paying yearly operating and maintenance costs and any debt for the Reedy Meadow and King Rail golf courses.
