An Act authorizing the town of Weston to grant an additional license for sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises

Weston restaurant alcohol license with location limits

The law lets Weston grant one extra license to Weston Breakfast, LLC, at 31 Center Street. It covers all alcoholic drinks consumed on-site. Use is limited to the restaurant’s dining room and other public rooms or areas the town approves in writing. The license cannot move to another address. A new applicant at the same address must file letters from the state revenue and unemployment assistance departments. These must show the license is in good standing and all required taxes, fees, and contributions are paid. The license and its rights and restrictions must return to the town if the holder ends it or fails to renew. Return is also required if the license is cancelled, revoked, or no longer used. The town has three years after return to grant it to a new applicant at that address; otherwise, it ends. The law took effect upon passage, and the first license must be issued within two years of that date. A license first issued within that deadline can go to a new applicant afterward under these same rules. State alcohol-license rules in chapter 138 apply, except section 17.
