Nantucket can transfer conservation parcel to Land Bank

The law lets the conservation commission convey 35 Grove Lane to the select board, even if other laws would limit such transfers. The parcel is Lot 5 on Plan File 8-A (deed Book 164, Page 228; map 71, parcel 342). The select board may then transfer part or all of it to the Nantucket Islands Land Bank. Use is for open space, conservation, passive recreation, and wildlife habitat. The board sets the terms and may keep restrictions and easements, shown on a map filed with the town clerk.
