Dennis directs fees to waterways

The law directs specified Town of Dennis fees into its waterways capital improvement fund, without further appropriation. The fund receives 50% of boat storage fees and transient boater fees, 37.5% of daily vehicle and trailer parking fees, and 25% of slip-holder fees. It receives all fees for boats using private docks, rack-stored boats, and waterways users. The select board can increase or decrease these shares only if authorized by town by-law. The law does not change the fees users pay and took effect upon passage.
