The law lets the Buzzards Bay Water District grant non‑exclusive permanent and temporary easements over its land at Bournedale Road in Bourne (Assessor’s Parcel 10‑52‑0). Algonquin Gas Transmission can install, run, fix, and replace natural gas pipelines and related gear, build an access road, and use a temporary work area. Payment to the District must be the greater of fair market value or value in use, set by an appraisal. The District must put the money it gets for the permanent easement and access road into a separate account and use it only to buy or care for Article 97 conservation land within three years after the conveyance. The plan for the easements is dated April 27, 2026 and is on file with the District Clerk; the act takes effect upon passage.
