Automatic reduced-fare renewal for permanently disabled riders

Beginning October 1, 2025, the Maryland Transit Administration must automatically renew certification for permanently disabled Disability Reduced Fare Program enrollees. These riders no longer need to renew their certification manually to keep access to reduced fares. The agency must adopt regulations setting up the automatic-renewal process.
