Anne Arundel clubs can sell at events

Beginning July 1, 2025, covered Anne Arundel County Class C license holders can sell beer, wine, and liquor at events. Sales must be for drinking on the licensed premises. Club and veterans’ organization buyers must be members or their guests. For fraternal or sororal local units, buyers must be members or guests accompanied by a member. The law also removes the former veterans’ organization event-permit rules.

Outside groups need daily alcohol licenses

Beginning July 1, 2025, outside groups holding events at covered Anne Arundel County Class C venues need a separate license. The outside group must get a Class C per-day beer, wine, and liquor license from the county’s Board of License Commissioners. The law does not state the per-day license fee.
