Breeding license for large carnivore exhibitors

The law lets certain animal exhibitors get a state breeding license for large carnivores. The business’s main purpose must be showing animals to the public for education or exhibition. It must hold a federal Class C license under 9 CFR parts 1 and 2, meet or exceed all Class C standards, and have kept that license in good standing for the past 5 years. Good standing means no federal or state license suspensions or revocations and no cease-and-desist order. Patrons cannot touch large carnivores, and sales are only allowed to other entities that meet these same rules. The rules apply immediately.
