Tax credit for conserved farmland owners

You can claim the state farmland preservation tax credit if you own farmland and related buildings under a conservation easement. Your land must also have one of these: a development rights agreement, a purchased development-rights or agricultural conservation easement, or an agricultural conservation easement under the farmland program. Both the conservation easement and the other agreement must have been signed before January 1, 2025. The law confirms eligibility for owners with multiple, older agreements. The law does not state the credit amount here.
