EPA labels satisfy pesticide warning rules

If a pesticide is registered with North Dakota or the U.S. EPA, an EPA-approved or EPA-consistent label counts as a sufficient warning. This includes labels approved at EPA registration, or labels that match EPA’s latest human health or cancer findings. The rule applies to North Dakota lawsuits about failure to warn or label, including common-law claims. It applies even if another state rule says otherwise.
