Complete treatment court, case and driving record cleared

If you are convicted of a misdemeanor under section 39-08-01 and sentenced to drug court, mental health court, or a veterans treatment docket, this law helps after you finish. When you successfully complete the program, the court dismisses your case and seals the file under section 12.1-32-07.2. The court also orders the motor vehicle department to remove the conviction and any suspension from your driving record. This can improve job, housing, license, and insurance outcomes.
