Hunters can donate deer license refund

The law adds an option on every deer lottery application. If you do not draw a deer tag, you can choose to donate your refund (the license fee) to the Private Land Open to Sportsmen (PLOTS) program. All money donated goes into the Game and Fish Private Land Habitat and Access Improvement Fund and is used for PLOTS habitat and access work. Donating is voluntary.
