More money for troopers' pensions

The law transfers $35.7 million from the Strategic Investment and Improvements Fund to the Highway Patrol Troopers' Retirement System Fund. The Office of Management and Budget makes the transfer during July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027. It is intended to raise the plan's funded level to 90% as of January 1, 2026. This strengthens pension security for troopers and their beneficiaries. It does not give direct cash to members.
