Some property deeds don't list price

North Dakota law no longer requires a price on some deeds. This “statement of full consideration” is waived for these transfers: public utility property; personal property; sales within a family or corporate group; and estate settlements. It also covers forced sales, mortgage foreclosures, and tax sales. Sales to or from religious, charitable, or nonprofit groups, and deeds that show a change of use are exempt. Quitclaim deeds; property not assessable by law; and farm land under 80 acres (32.37 hectares) are also exempt.
