Minimum $150 fine for work zone speeding

You must pay at least $150 if you speed in a posted construction zone when workers are present and the sign says "Minimum Fee $150." For 1–10 mph over the limit, the fee is $150. For more than 10 mph over, the fee is $150 plus $2 for each mph above 10. If a larger fee in the same law applies, that larger amount controls.
