The law provides $500,000 from the Strategic Investment and Improvements Fund to the Insurance Commissioner to grant to the North Dakota Firefighter's Association. The money must only help pay for a new association building. The Insurance Commissioner administers the grant. The funding is one-time and is available now through June 30, 2027. The Act takes effect immediately as an emergency measure.
