Funds and authority for K-12 studies

The K-12 coordination council can sign contracts to run studies that support its goals under state law. The superintendent of public instruction pays these contracts. Beginning July 1, 2025, the state provides $60,000 from the general fund for this purpose, for the biennium ending June 30, 2027. The money is only for council study contracts under section 15.1-01-04 and is available as needed within that amount.
