State legal defense for sergeant-at-arms staff

In New Hampshire, beginning January 1, 2027, House and Senate sergeant-at-arms staff get the same state legal defense and indemnity as state officers. This applies only to actions taken while performing official duties. The state provides a lawyer and pays covered legal costs and judgments under its indemnification law.
