Faster bullying investigations in New Hampshire
New Hampshire public schools must start investigating reported bullying or cyberbullying within 5 school days. The principal, or a designee, runs the investigation and records the results. The superintendent may give a written extension of up to 7 more school days and must tell all parties in writing. When a case crosses districts, the district where the behavior started investigates. These rules take effect 60 days after the law’s passage.
