New Hampshire license now required for associate funeral directors

Beginning 60 days after the law’s passage, you cannot act as or advertise as an associate funeral director unless you are licensed. You must pass board-approved exams and get the license from the New Hampshire Office of Professional Licensure and Certification. The title “associate funeral director” now means a person who holds this state license. The law does not list fees or exact exam steps.
