2 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 0 costs, 1 mixed.
High school dual enrollment: caps and more credits
The law sets limits on state-paid dual or concurrent enrollment at New Hampshire community colleges. The state pays for up to 4 courses in grade 10, 4 in grade 11, and 4 in grade 12. You can take more courses, but you or your family must pay for them. The old 4-credit limit per funded course is removed, so a funded course can be more than 4 credits when program policies allow. These rules follow policies set by the Community College System of New Hampshire.
Dual enrollment changes start in 60 days
The law takes effect 60 days after it is passed. That is when the new funding caps and the removal of the 4-credit course cap apply.
