Town checklist supervisors now serve 3 years
The board has 3 members, all legal voters of the town. In every even-numbered year, the annual town election chooses one supervisor for a 3-year term. The 2026 winner serves until the 2029 town election; the 2028 winner serves until the 2031 town election. Current supervisors keep their constituencies and terms, and pre-2026 vacancies use the 2024 rules. The law takes effect 60 days after passage.
