Bill Overview

Analyzed Economic Effects

3 provisions identified: 0 benefits, 2 costs, 1 mixed.

Radiation care fund eliminated

The law takes effect 60 days after passage. It eliminates the Radiation Long-Term Care Fund. It also removes the rules that sent radiation-related receipts into that fund. The law does not say where those receipts go instead. This may reduce dedicated money for long-term radiation care.

State mosquito-control fund eliminated

The law takes effect 60 days after passage. It eliminates the Mosquito Control Fund and removes the rule that sent money into it. The law does not replace this funding. Local mosquito-control work could have less guaranteed state money.

Recovery monument account ends; money moved

The law takes effect 60 days after passage. On that date, the state ends the New Hampshire Recovery Monument special account. Any money left in that account moves to the Alcohol Abuse Fund. The law also ends the rule that sent money into the monument account. It does not set new spending or list amounts.
