State energy strategy adopts clean energy

The law defines "clean energy" to include small-scale nuclear, renewable energy, and fuel diversity. The New Hampshire Department of Energy must use this term in the 10-year State Energy Strategy. The strategy must review studies from ISO New England and the Public Utilities Commission, and consider work by legislative study panels and other state or regional groups. It must also look at new technologies and their impact on the state's energy future. The law removes the Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Energy Board from the required review list, and all changes take effect 60 days after passage.
