3 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 0 costs, 2 mixed.
Corrections nursing director pay increases
The law raises the pay band for the Department of Corrections Director of Nursing. The range goes from $110,000–$155,000 to $142,000–$210,740 a year. This lets the state pay up to $55,740 more at the top end. It applies beginning 60 days after passage.
State updates which jobs are unclassified
The law changes which state jobs are in the unclassified pay system. It removes six roles: Adult Parole Board director of operations; Revenue Administration director of collections; Corrections director of rehabilitative services; Corrections unit director—non medical; Health and Human Services director of long-term supports and services; and Health and Human Services director of information services. It also adds many roles, including DHHS attorneys and leaders (information services, long-term supports, chief operations, pharmacy leaders), Energy commissioner, deputy, and directors, DoIT CTO and applications lead, Agriculture assistant commissioner, Adult Parole Board operations director, Revenue collections director, and Corrections medical and rehabilitation leaders. Being unclassified can change how these jobs are appointed and how pay is set. Changes take effect 60 days after passage.
Changes take effect in 60 days
The whole law starts 60 days after passage. The pay range and job list changes begin then.
